Revelation 6:
"(1) And I saw when the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals; and I heard first of the four living beasts call out in a voice as of thunder: Come. (2) And I looked, and behold, a white horse, and the one who rode it held a bow, and a crown was being given to him. Thereupon he proceeded from victory to victory. (3) And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living beast say: Come. (4) And there appeared another, a horse red as fire. The one who rode him was granted the power to take peace out of the world, so that they shall kill each other, and he was given a great sword. (5) And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say: Come. And I looked, and behold, a black horse, and the one who rode it held a balance in his hand. (7) And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth beast call out: Come. (8) And I looked, and behold, a pale horse, and the one who rode it, his name is Death, and in his entourage was the land of the dead. And he was given power over one quarter of earth to kill by the sword and hunger, by pestilence and the wild beasts of the earth."

I have an introduction to the Song lyrics on all my other pages. In this case I think the song speaks it own meaning. Nothing can bring back the soldiers in Iraq who have died, Nothing can bring back the Iraqi war dead. Every Soldier at war in Iraq will represent a member of a new lost generation who will question the meaning and purpose of this war and who will have to come to terms with their own part in it. All are victims of an aggression created only for the purposes of those in political power. One thing that I want to make clear is that any proceeds from this song that may occur upon release of the new album will be donated to non-profit organizations doing work in Iraq to bring relief to the Iraqi people and for wounded and disabled soldiers returning from Iraq - Brendan.

Dagon lifts his head ,

we all do what the president said

send the soldiers to the sand

If they live to be older they’ll understand

Chorus

We’re living in the belly of the beast

Watching while it takes its feast

Looking for a storm in the middle east

And dancing with Armageddon

dancing with Armageddon

“What rough beast its hour come round

Slouches towards Bethlehem town?”

I Never thought the time had come and gone

The bombs would be falling on Babylon

Never thought I’d live to see

The missiles falling on Tel Aviv

We’re living in the belly of the beast

Watching while it takes its feast

Looking for a storm in the middle east

And dancing with Armageddon

dancing with Armageddon

Who’ll call out at last

when the walls all fall and the trumpets blast

Who at last will raise their hands

and say “Please tell me I don’t understand”

“Cry Havoc loose the dogs of war!"

Well I for one don’t want it any more

Hear the cry from my lips

I don’t want to start the Apocalypse

We’re living in the belly of the beast

Watching while it takes its feast

Looking for a storm in the middle east

And dancing with Armageddon

dancing with Armageddon
