I can't possibly name all the science fiction writers who have created similar tales, but I will express deep appreciation to such influences as Aldous Huxley and "Brave New World", George Orwell and "1984", as well as a number of films such as "Soylent Green", "Logan's Run" and more recently "Strange Days".

So you download in the morning, so you can upload in the evening

and you lay out all the right pills to complement the mood,

and you find yourself a partner who is tuned in to your wavelength,

who's not carrying any baggage that you don't need to bring along,

and you must prepare the latex before you stimulate the cortex

and you fasten down the seat belts and prepare yourselves for the ride…
