Ten Thousand Revolutions

Some time ago I wanted to write a song about the pure cosmic connectivity of all things, but in such a way that expressed a basic joyful celebration of existence, conveying both a pagan sense of wonder and a reference to our somewhat limited, but ever expanding scientific understanding of the physical universe. Recent deep space photos released by NASA through the means of the Hubbell telescope show myriad galaxies in a part of space that was formerly considered "quiet". These photos demonstrate most effectively the concept of "world without end" and further express the ultimate question "What is existence and why does it exist?" The Title "Ten Thousand Revolutions" is a purely subjective speculative number meant to convey the constant motion and change of all things, as well as an allegory to our relatively microscopic human endeavors and changes. Also as a foot note I'd like to reference the book of Ezekial for its image of "a wheel within a wheel" which I certainly am guilty of extrapolating to cosmic proportions.
10,000 Revolutions There's 10,000 revolutions per minute happening ever day The world is a machine and we're all in it We all have a part to playThere's little circles inside the big circles turning and the wheels have a lot to say
Chorus
10,000 per minutes happening ever day
10,000 revolutions per minutes happening ever day
10,000 revolutions...
Everything that we do in our lives is a circle, a circle is a word for a wheel
The cycles of the seasons and the circles of our dreams
Is it life or dreams that are real? Close your eyes and then you can feel
Trust in the Way you feel Trust in the Way you feel
Chorus
The Earth and the Moon and the Sun form a circle
They're part of the galaxy wheel and the distance in between the circle of stars
is like the space between molecules Close your eyes and then you can feel
Trust in the way you feel, trust in the way you feel
Chorus
